Sahuarita High School Sponsors “We Move for Kindness” 5K Run/Walk

Sahuarita High School encourages community members, businesses and faith communities to come together and participate in the “We Move for Kindness” 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, April 30th, 2016 at 8:00 am.

The purpose of this event is to encourage neighborhood development and to raise funds for community organizations that service the families of the Sahuarita Unified School District, including local food banks, The Amado-Sahuarita Adult Learning Program and the Tanner Bell Karr Scholarship Foundation.

This non-competitive, casually timed 5K fun run/walk will begin at Sahuarita High School’s track and will travel through the SUSD’s school campuses.  Following the run/walk, children ages 2-5 can participate in an end zone to end zone run on the football field.    Strollers are permitted.  Sorry….the family pets need to stay at home.

Water will be available along the course, but we suggest you bring your own hand held water bottle.  Food trucks will be on site.

Registration forms can be found at each SUSD school and at: http://www.susd30.us/docs/SHS/walkrunreg.pdf
